Incidentally, the Duchy of Hinterobertupfingen lost the decisive battle against the Duchy of Vorderuntertupfingen at Bayrisch-Tupfingen in 1037 when one of those ghastly giant slugs swallowed Duke Rodericus of Hinterobertupfingen.
Savage, dangerous beasts they were, those slugs.
